Meg began her wine journey in Central Otago at the youthful age of 18, initially as a job while studying management, the wine industry captured her attention and she’s loved it ever since.
Victor is our Winemaker and amassed over a decade of experience across five of the world’s most renowned wine regions. After stints in France, Argentina, South Africa and Australia, before he came to New Zealand and started to work for Cloudy Bay in 2013.
Kelly is our Assistant Winemaker. She joined Cloudy Bay as a cellar hand in 2016, becoming an assistant winemaker two years later. She has represented Cloudy Bay twice in the Young Winemaker of the Year awards and was the national runner-up in 2018.
Nikolai joined the Cloudy Bay family in 2020 as Senior Winemaker. He believes good winemaking is about finding balance and interest for the drinker. It’s an approach that takes patience, knowledge and good instincts for great wine.
John is our viticulturist and a member of the Cloudy Bay Blending and Technical Committees. Here he is able to fulfill his passion, allowing every vine to speak for itself and showcasing the potential of each parcel of land in every bottle of Cloudy Bay wine.
Jim is our Technical Director. He moved to New Zealand and joined Cloudy Bay in 2011 as Viticulturist. In 2018 he became the Technical Director, overseeing both the viticulture and the winemaking at Cloudy Bay.
Kat is our Wine Communications Manager and joined the Cloudy Bay family in 2017. While studying for her Master of Wine in the UK, Kat won a scholarship to spend a month in Marlborough in 2012.
